Year 8 History Lesson on D-Day

To mark the 75th Anniversary of the D Day landings, our Year 8 History students today had great fun during their History lesson when they reenacted the D Day landings at the 5 beaches code named Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno and Sword.

The students improvised and made five makeshift defence lines which the 'Germans' defended and the 'Allies' attacked. Both teams embraced the challenge with gusto but thankfully history remains intact.
